In 1971, our founder, Thomas Fenwick saw a promising future of this small, San Francisco based, two man door company. He relocated his family from Southern California along with his stepson Thomas Roehm to be his first employee. The two of them together learned the trade and began to build a reputable business working in a growing market of door automation in hospitals and retail. The company has grown exponentially, moving down the peninsula to be able to serve a wider territory and with over 30 employees. At it's heart Automatic Door Systems, Inc. very much remains a family business with the help of the loyalty of its employees and patrons alike.
